Product is fantastic; I give it 5 Stars. This is not a large container; I give it 3 Stars. The small size is perfect to carry in your pocket. The large size needs to be at least twice as large to match other brands and be more usable as a daily by your sink product.
Love it!! Doesn’t make my goat look like a candle factory blew up in my face! Great conditioning balm that smells nice. The waxes are like dirt attractors. The beard balm isn’t like that. Yet, it keeps the fly always in check.
Bought a tin of this from my barber a few months ago. This week, they were trying to find somebody to take the last tin off their hands at a steep discount.
Pros:

- Hold is acceptable while it lasts
Cons:
- The smell. Oh boy the smell... I'm what most would consider city folk, and I can only imagine this was made for people who grew up on a farm and are looking to drum up memories of their days as a stable boy. The best way I can think of to describe it is "like a petting zoo." Not pleasant and, for a product that gets prime real estate near the nostrils, it's a wild choice. My fiance is similarly nonplussed about it.
- While the initial hold is decent, the longevity isn't. Expect to reapply multiple times per day if you want to avoid a dose of 'stache with every meal

Here's the thing though. Our mustache wax has no added scent. It's just beeswax, lanolin, and coconut oil. There's nothing in it that would smell like a barn, a stable, or anything close. So whatever you got, the smell isn't coming from how we make it.
And a barber trying to offload the last tin at a steep discount usually means it sat on a shelf a long time. These are natural ingredients. They can turn over the years, and old wax won't hold like a fresh batch either.
So this is either a really old tin or it's not ours. Either way I'd rather you judge us on a good one. Shoot me an email at info@texasbeardcompany.mom and I'll send a fresh tin out, on me. Then tell me if it holds up.

Several years ago I was a customer (Big Thicket was my favorite). I had a nice mustache and enjoyed your products (Whiskey Barrel Aged was nice too). I got out of the Mustache game for awhile, but now I have returned. Just got my Big Thicket order, and it was just as I remembered.

My beard never looked better, but I would not say it’s cherry scented. It has an odd medicinal scent.
Amazing products. I have tried others but have settled on Texas Beard Co for the last 2 years. Oil is good quality and the balm applies smooth and has a good hold for the day without feeling like there is anything applied

I love this brush. It is has the soft bristles I like for my face and the curve makes it easy to get underneath my chin and hit those sometimes missed hairs. I keep one in my vehicle and in my bathroom so I don’t forget it when I’m out and about.
Product is new to me. Used it today for the first time. Very happy!

Tried others none compare. Love the options, availability, and ease of ordering. Have some scents I don't care for but, I just leave them out. If it is a dress up event heavy balm works best.

I really like the size and shape of this brush. The bristles are ok. I do feel the bristles on this brush could benefit from being just a bit firmer. But i would buy this brush again regardless. I like it.
